“The title came from articles I was reading back in 2007. about how each person has inner and outer life. Outer life is supposed to be what we are to society while inner life is what we are to ourselves. It’s sort of a new age philosophy that I don’t relate to that much, but it was pretty interesting to me at that time. You can still read about this topic on many places around web and magazines, where writers mostly conclude that the best option is to have a harmony between these two. In 2007. I felt that I am out of sync with my outer life, and that was my main inspiration for this record.
Dark in atmosphere, the record shifts from atmospheric to beat oriented tracks. Of course, don’t expect any regular beats or digital samples anywhere. As usual, my main instrument is guitar and all the sounds are coming from it. Around that time I met Ivan Ckonjevic, and his persona made a huge influence on me. When he played his tracks to me one night, I was fascinated how empty it sounds, but so rich in harmonies and with that deep vibe of sustained notes, shifting slowly in time. I guess Outer Life For You is directly inspired by his music.

Thanks to Bratislav Milenkovic who did this really cool cover for it.
Thank you for listening. ”
